  Journal Underground mining engineering publishes scientific and professional papers in the field of mining, geology and geosciences. Initially, scope of the journal was limited only to the technology of the excavation of underground openings. Since mining is complex discipline, scope of the journal was expanded to include most aspects of the mining, geology and geosciences. Accordingly, journal publishes papers in underground and surface mining, mine surveying, oil and gas exploitation, mineral processing, environmental protection and mine mechanization. Beside this, journal accepts papers in fields of general and structural geology, hydrogeology, geotechnics, geophysics and other related fields that have their application in mining and geology.
